IMPORTANT: BoundryIQ provides parcel data and coordinate information for informational and field-assistance purposes only. It is NOT a substitute for a licensed land surveyor. Do not rely solely on BoundryIQ data for legal boundary determinations, property conveyances, construction, or any purpose requiring licensed survey work.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BoundryIQ ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our") at boundryiq.com or any associated application, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

BoundryIQ is a parcel intelligence platform that provides survey-related data including State Plane Coordinates, grid bearings, distances, NGS benchmark calibration, and parcel boundary records ("boundries") to assist survey professionals and GIS users in field preparation and data collection. The Platform is currently in early access / beta.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer — Read Carefully

ALL DATA PROVIDED BY BOUNDRYIQ IS FOR INFORMATIONAL AND FIELD-ASSISTANCE PURPOSES ONLY. Specifically:

Parcel boundary data is sourced from county GIS datasets which may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
State Plane Coordinates, grid bearings, and distances are computed values derived from publicly available GIS data and NGS benchmark calibration. They are approximations and should not be treated as certified survey measurements.
NGS benchmark calibration (Helmert transformation) improves coordinate estimates but does not guarantee survey-grade accuracy.
BoundryIQ does not represent or warrant that any data is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any specific purpose.
Parcel boundary lines shown do not constitute legal boundary determinations.

Always verify all data with independent field measurements and consult a licensed land surveyor for any legal, construction, or official boundary determination.

4. Not Professional Surveying Advice

Nothing on BoundryIQ constitutes professional land surveying advice, engineering advice, or legal advice. BoundryIQ is a software tool. Use of this Platform does not create a professional-client relationship of any kind. Users are solely responsible for verifying all data and for compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BOUNDRYIQ, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO:

Your use of or inability to use the Platform;
Any reliance on data, coordinates, bearings, distances, or other information provided by the Platform;
Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in parcel data or coordinate information;
Any property disputes, boundary errors, construction errors, or financial losses resulting from use of Platform data;
Service interruptions, data loss, or platform unavailability.

IN NO EVENT SHALL BOUNDRYIQ'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BOUNDRYIQ IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00), WHICHEVER IS LESS.

6. No Warranty

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BoundryIQ and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your reliance on any data provided by the Platform; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, design, trademarks, trade dress, and intellectual property on the Platform — including the coined term "boundry" and the BoundryIQ brand — are the exclusive property of BoundryIQ and its owner. The term "boundry" as defined and used in the context of survey-grade parcel boundary records was coined by BoundryIQ on July 13, 2026. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for lawful purposes only.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose;
Scrape, harvest, or systematically download Platform data without written permission;
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code;
Use the Platform to trespass, violate privacy, or conduct unauthorized surveys of third-party property;
Resell or redistribute Platform data without authorization;
Attempt to circumvent access controls or security measures.

10. Data Sources

Parcel data is sourced from publicly available county and state GIS datasets. NGS benchmark data is sourced from the National Geodetic Survey. BoundryIQ makes no representations regarding the accuracy or completeness of source data. Third-party data is subject to the terms and licenses of its respective sources.

11. Early Access / Beta

BoundryIQ is currently in early access / beta. Features may change, be removed, or be unavailable. Data coverage is limited. Early access users accept that the Platform is not a finished product and use it at their own risk.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BoundryIQ regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements.
